Wayne-John Rousse is a graduate of USC where he received his BA in Theatre, Speech & Dance. By day he is a drama teacher at Dutch Fork High School; by night he finds his true joy in the art of theatre. He made his directing debut at Workshop with Messiah on the Frigidaire. Some of Wayne-John's favorite roles have been in Chicago, La Cage Aux Folles, 1940's Radio Hour, and Pippin at Workshop, Night of The Iguana and The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Trustus, Cyrano de Bergerac and Much Ado About Nothing with the SCSC, and Peter Pan and Guys & Dolls at Town Theatre. He is a member of the SC Shakespeare Company and Borenya West African Drumming and Dance Company. Wayne-John is the director of the Workshop Theatre Performing Arts School and is an active Board Member. He thanks his friends and family for their continued love and support of the arts!
